Unless you want to navigate your way through hundreds of blow downs, beware! Can't wait to ride this when it's clear.

Did Lord Hill to the towers and then down to the river. Many of the trails are overgrown with flurishing nettles so we got some work to do. Using fingerless gloves left several nettle sting marks and numbness. Use a long sleeve and fingered gloves an...

Suntop is clear of snow but still has enough trees across it to make it an adventure ride.  95% of the downed trees are contained in one mile of trail starting about 2 miles from the Road/Trail intersection.  This mile has about 20-25 trees...

Rode all the way to the lake, no snow (a couple of spots where it's still there, but plenty of room to ride around it, not covering the whole trail.)Maybe 5 (?) trees down on the whole ride... nothing you can't carry your bike over, but too big for m...

Rode an out and back on Devil's Gulch all the way to the top. Was brutally hot but otherwise a great ride. The middle is a bit overgrown and there are a few spots that feel pretty loose on the edge of the cliff, but overall it's in decent shape. Alre...

Top sections of both Pallisades and Ranger Creek are poorly maintained and contain numerous obstacles: blowdowns, slides and debris.  Still a great ride.  It'll be better when the forest trail gnomes return with more shovels and chainsaws.

The heat on the climb was nearly unbearable. Surprisingly enough, there were still a few patches of snow at the top, but not enough to warrant a worry though. After the trail crosses back across the road after the summit and heads uphill again, we no...

There was free-ranging livestock that degraded the trails making then dusty and covered with cow pies.  We were getting cow crap on our bikes and on our bodies.   It's too bad that they allow cattle crazing on such a great trail.  &nbs...

Rode the trail one-way from the main trailhead out to the Dingford (?) trailhead and then back along the gravel road. Planned on doing an out and back, but there were so many large blow-downs in the central part of the trail that we decided to take t...

Beautiful spot, but the trail is badly blown out. Prepare to walk your bike often through wash-outs and mud. Snow still on the saddle. I would wait another month for this trail to dry out a bit more. Definitely a tougher ride than described—the 2700'...

I took my hand saw along on my ride. I was able to clear about half dozen trees. I did not have much spare time, so in some instances I just made the trees passable. There were two large trees that I did not try to do anything with. Those would best...

First time up on this trail for me. Solod a quick evening ride on Phase 1 of this trail. Did the ~4 mile loop up the loggin road, up the single track to the T, and then back down the single track. Hit multiple patches of snow near the top of the ridg...

Rode all the way to Harris Lake. The snow's almost completely gone; there were 2 patches that were too soft to ride but they should be gone in a few days. That leaves about 10 trees in the trail that you'll have to get off your bike for. If you're r...

Rode here for the first time in 2016 and the record winter rains have made mother nature very fruitful. I spent a lot of time cutting back the foliage and leafy handle grabbers. This is a great area just east of Duvall with a neat side trip to the fa...

Trail tread in awesome shape, and no mud/blowdown anywhere.  A lot of the trails (mostly NE corner + about 3/4 of the clearcut) got a mechanical brushing, but unfortunately all the organic was just left on the trail tread to eventually break dow...

My wife and I wrote this for the first time yesterday. It's a fairly easy loop with first little technical terrain. The main obstacle to watch for is cows and their fragrant  pies on the decent there are free roaming cows. It is dry and many of...

The Buck Mountain Loop will be partially closed due to logging operations Thursday June 2nd and Friday June 3rd (and likely Monday June 6th - Friday June 10th).  The loop will still be accessible and rideable from the Buck Lake side.

Wonderful day for a ride on the ridge! Concerns about snow at elevation basically evaporated once we hit the trail. Although we did hit some (mostly around .75 - 1 mile in) it was easily navigable and rode most of it on the way down. Fair amount of a...
