I’m amazed and so grateful for what you have helped accomplish this year. More trail miles in construction, more members, and continued unwavering volunteer support at 16,000 maintenance hours across the state—all because of you.

How was your first time on a mountain bike? Did you feel excitement? Fear? Did someone help you along?

Mike and his son Max live to mountain bike. If you ride Swan Creek, Tiger Mountain, Duthie Hill or BDOS, you’ve probably seen this father/son duo zipping down trail together.

**Rat Pac is currently under 2' of snow. Enjoy another ride this month (and we hope you do)!** On the dry side of the state is a trail boasting a fast, swoopy ride with plenty of features (and a few “pucker-inducing” ones) for advanced riders. And for west-side riders coming to grips with the rainy season—this trail is just 90 minutes from Seattle, just outside of Roslyn. Meet our December Trail Highlight: Rat Pac.

You should meet Shawn.  Shawn loves building trail for you. As the trail boss for the Ollalie Project, he spends most days shaping trails alone, knowing you and your friends will love them as much as he does. But right now, Shawn needs you. Record October rains hammered our crew’s progress, requiring levels of re-work we’ve never seen. New seeps and storm blowdowns in the fall aren’t uncommon, but October was record-breaking.

As an Evergreen volunteer, you make Washington riding possible! From Cold Creek to the Methow and to Spokane, your volunteer hours ensure our state remains the best place to ride.

As an Evergreen supporter, you built new projects in Issaquah, Ellensburg, and Spokane (to name a few). You gave beginner riders access to more classes than ever. And because of you, several new major trails are opening in 2017.
