Are you a kid? Have a kid? And do you have a bike?
Join us at Duthie Hill Bike Park on Oct. 6th from 10am-3pm for a day of riding, activities, food, and family fun.
And as always—it’s FREE!
Rain or shine we’re always ready for this energy-packed event—even with drizzle last year over 300 kids came out to take part in Duthie’s famous trails with family, friends, or Evergreen Coaches.
Whether new or experienced, kids can join in for a chance to learn some skills, go on guided rides, take a mini skills clinic, or win raffle prizes.
And if you’re hungry, we’ll have Gregg’s Cycles on the scene sponsoring a free BBQ lunch, and Slide Thru food truck with food and beverages for purchase. Either way you’ll be fueled for fun.
All-Abilities Riding and Activity
If you haven’t been to Take a Kid (or Duthie) in the past, come enjoy a welcoming community in a learning-focused riding area. The well-marked trails are short, come always end back to the central clearing, and offer great riding for brand new-to-expert riders of all ages!
And if you’re worried, we’ve got some maps for you, too.
Games, Rides, and Activities
This year's event is packed with guided trail rides, skills clinics, activities, raffles, a BBQ lunch from Gregg's Cycles, and much more! So what do you need? A bike, a helmet, and a love of fun—that’s it.
Can you say raffle? Win this Kona!
Lunch will be provided by Gregg’s, snacks from Clif, and activities from Sweetlines and the Evergreen Education Program. And we've got some amazing raffle prizes including jerseys from Spawn Cycles and a kids bike from Kona! Now we just need you to show up!
