At Evergreen, October marks the return of loamy trails, muddy bikes, swinging tools, and the end of the education season.

2018 was a great year for the Evergreen Education Program as it continued to grow and help more and more riders reach their mountain biking potential.

Here are some exciting stats from our 2018 season:

32 new instructors

900+ Students

122 Classes

10 Full Dirt Camps at Duthie Hill – More than 250 campers!

5 Chapters hosting classes across the state

1600+ Volunteer Instructor hours!

This year also saw the camps at Squilchuck State Park take off, new classes added to East and special clinics happen on Tiger Mountain and Duthie Hill with Evergreen's Cascades to Sound chapter. Whether you were just getting into riding this year or looking to claim a PR on Predator, we had classes to help get you there.

This is all thanks to our wonderful team of Instructors and Coaches who made it possible. While the numbers are impressive and show our continued growth, it also shows the value Washington's Mountain Biking community sees in educating the next generation of riders.

This is a cornerstone of Evergreen’s mission and one that we feel has big impact on our community. Interested in becoming part of our Instructor team? Keep an eye out for our recruitment call in January. Our registration for camps will be released on January 15th, 2019 and class registration will begin shortly after!

See you on the trails!
