A message from Board President, Andy Rigel, on #GivingTuesday
2018 has been an amazing year to be a mountain biker in Washington State.
You helped us get started on new trail projects that amount to nearly 100 miles of fresh trail across the state.
Today, I ask for your ongoing support to help us meet our fundraising goal of $140K by the end of 2018. It's a big ask, but we can start strong today by meeting our $15k goal for Giving Tuesday.
This year, you gave more to enable strong growth in our education programs. You rolled up your sleeves to soar our collective trail maintenance volunteer hours to an all-time high.
And I am especially proud that you helped our community grow to 5,000+ members strong!
2018 clearly shows that we, as a community, are not afraid of challenges, we support each other, and we step up when needed to support new projects and protect Washington’s public lands and recreational resources.
I often get asked what goes on behind the scenes at Evergreen and what goes in to making all of these amazing accomplishments happen. As Evergreen kicks off its year end fundraising campaign today, we’re going to “Pull Back the Curtain” for you. Throughout the next few weeks, you’ll get a first-hand look at Evergreen’s key programs including trail building, education, chapter development, and our volunteer network.
This campaign will show that it’s the steadfast and tireless commitment of every person on the Evergreen team—including YOU!—that makes Evergreen so successful.
We took on some serious project initiatives and investments this year, and we must make our year end fundraising goal to continue supporting these objectives. As the campaign progresses, we hope you enjoy learning more about what your support makes possible across Washington.
And then, please donate to help us raise the funds necessary to go after more huge goals for 2019 (To be announced soon!) The more funds we raise, the more we accomplish together!
Donate today and continue to watch the trail magic happen. Thank you for your continued support of Evergreen.

Enjoy the ride,
