Time spent on a mountain bike is time well spent.
And if you’ve been fortunate enough to spend any time riding in Washington recently, you know that we have a lot to be thankful for.
An ever-expanding number of premium trails across our state is just scratching the surface of what we’re grateful for here at Evergreen. When you dig deeper into Washington’s riding scene, you’ll find a vast community filled with dedicated volunteers, trail builders, coaches, instructors, sponsors, local business owners and land managers.
The ecosystem of mountain biking is alive and well in Washington and YOU are an important part of it. For that, we’re thankful.
Read on to see what else Evergreen’s full-time crew is thankful for. Happy Thanksgiving!

A significant portion of my fall was dominated by e-MTB advocacy work. Choosing whether to engage in the issue or not wasn’t an option as this growing segment of our sport is demanding more energy and resources to ensure its sustainable entry to trails.

"I See Shred People!"
A quick scan of trail opportunities on TrailForks tells the story of riding in Vancouver, WA.
Compared to other regions in the state it looks fairly thin, and it’s a good distance from home for most. There aren’t a lot of places to ride nearby, but for those willing to make the commute (45 min) from Vancouver or Portland, the Yacolt Burn State Forest holds “epic views, leg burning grinds and hero dirt all year”.
