Trail Tuesday featuring Roslyn Area Trails in the Kittitas Chapter
It's Trail Tuesday featuring the Roslyn area trails in the Kittitas Chapter!
The Roslyn area trails are accessible right off of I-90, just 90 minutes from Seattle, offering riders a good dose of fun blue trails with interesting features. These trails can get dusty so ride them early season before they dry out. Hit one trail for a quick afternoon ride, or connect them for a longer adventure.
TOP DOWNHILL TRAILS:
Brass Monkey (black)
A 2.1 mile advanced flowy descent trail with some unique features such as a sandstone boulder drop and a handful of jumps to keep you on your toes. Most of the trail rides like a blue, but it has some challenging features to be aware of. This trail can get dry and loose as the season progresses with the drier summer season. Finished in 2019, Brass Monkey is another great addition to the Kittitas collection of amazing MTB trails.
Rat Pac (blue/black)
A 4-mile fast, swoopy downhill trail with exciting gravity drops, jumps, a gravity bowl, various skinnies, ladders, and a few pucker-inducing features, including the infamous Rock - an elevated ladder-to-boulder with severe consequence. The trail has hard and easy lines and is well marked, there are structure options for more advanced riders.
Beer Can (blue)
A 1.9 mile primary downhill trail with a variety of features making it a fun, quick, and popular local ride.
TOP CROSS-COUNTRY TRAIL:
Paul’s Trail (blue)
A nice traverse across the top of the ridge with outstanding views out into the Teanaway and toward Mt Stuart and the Enchantments.
