Danger Zone - Tackled My Own

Today I decided to push my own limits and went into my personal 'Danger Zone' in Darrington, the Showcase Showdown trail.

Sing this report to Kenny Loggins biggest hit. ;-)

Pedaling with your legs
Breathing heavy, almost a roar
Full Suspension ready
Ready for the Tech and Flow

Downhill to the Trailhead
Right down to the Trailhead

Headlamps on at Sunset
Scaring wildlife tonight
Trails got you jumping high as heck
And GoPro catching it all live

Downhill to the Trailhead
Gravity gets you right down to the trailhead

Always try for your best descent
Like you’re on a Red Bull Rampage run
You'll want know what you can do
So you know just how far and how much fun

Up around the summit
Always where our bikes should be
Riding  a sharp ridge
Could send you to Eternity

Downhill to the Trailhead
Gravity gets you right down to the trailhead
Downhill to the Trailhead
Ride down to the trailhead

Downhill to the Trailhead
Gravity gets you right down to the trailhead
Downhill to the Trailhead
Ride down to the trailhead

Downhill to the Trailhead
Gravity gets you right down to the trailhead
Downhill to the Trailhead
Ride down to the trailhead

Got out of the fog this morning and went to try Lower Showcase Showdown from the top of Pathfinder. The first run was spent clearing all the windfall and pre-riding the features I usually walk. Today was to tackle as many as I could and still come out unscathed. It was a very fulfilling day. There are a handful of chainsaw jobs on the top of Pathfinder and one down halfway on Lower Showcase before the clearcut where the trail options join. My run is on pink bike here. The Trailforks ride log and pictures of wind debris are here.
