Juke Box Hero - Out of the Blue
Sing report to the title song....
Climbing in light rain, with the cloud layer low
Couldn’t get a shuttle, was a solo show
Heard a roar of some jets, but could barely see
Climbing came to a crawl, as road switchbacks Z’d
On his M T B, Finding his own way
Knew he’d get to the trail, and be ready to play
When he got to the top, took a break and a snack
Didn't know the conditions, but he knew the track
Those handlebars, felt good in his hands
Didn't take long, to understand
Having one good run, would really make his day
Was his one way to enjoyment, and was his only play
He began his descending, ain't never gonna stop
Gotta keep on dropping, someday gonna make it without stops
And the dirt was hero, got stars in his eyes
All the dirt was hero
He had handlebars (dirt was hero, stars in his eyes)
Dirt was hero, (stars in his eyes) He'll have a beer tonight
In a town called Darrington, with a River Time Brew
Thought he passed another biker, by the bathroom door
Like a trip through the past, to that trail in the rain
And those handlebars, made his whole week change
Now he needs to keep on dropping, he just can't stop
Gotta keep on dropping, that boy has got to stay on top
And the dirt was hero, got stars in his eyes
All the dirt was hero
He had handlebars (dirt was hero, stars in his eyes)
Dirt was hero, (stars in his eyes) He'll have a beer tonight!

The roots were still a bit greasy but the dirt and rock were fine. I did the bottom three sections of Out of the Blue after climbing the road. No snow but there are several, significant, chainsaw jobs still to clear in the second and third segments from the bottom on this trail. GPS track and pictures of blockages here.
