Can’t Live Without Bikes

Sing this report to the Scorpions song "Can't Live Without You".

One,
Two,
One, Two,
One, two, three, four

Send it in front of your friends
You know the fun never ends
We see Red Bull riders sending it far
With crowds shaking their heads
Amazed at how well they can shred
And getting a couple more beers at the bar

Can't live, can't live without bikes
Can't live, can't live without bikes
Can't live, can't live without bikes
Can't live, can't live without bikes

Send your bikes up in the air
Like you accepted a dare
I wanna see all your stunts performed well
Want you to manual well
Without ringing your bell
And create a story everyone can tell

Can't live, can't live without bikes
Can't live, can't live without bikes
Can't live, can't live without bikes
Can't live, can't live without bikes

Clip in and descend
We're ready for rocks, we're ready to roll
Clip in and descend
Are you ready?
Are you ready?
Come on and get it

Whoo-hoo!
Yeah-yeah!

Clip in and descend
We're ready for rocks, we're ready to roll
Clip in and descend
Are you ready?
Are you ready?

Come on and get it

Can't live, can't live without bikes
Can't live, can't live without bikes
Can't live, can't live without bikes
Can't live, can't live without bikes (yeah)
Can't live, can't live without bikes
(my-my-my-my-my-my-my)

Can't live, can't live without bikes
(come everybody, give me, everybody, yeah)
Can't live, can't live without bikes
(come everybody, yeah, give me, everybody)
Can't live, can't live without bikes
Can't live, can't live without bikes

It’s been a long time since I’ve been on the Out of the Blue trail so today I went out there to Darrington in a small break from the heavy rains and started riding up the logging road, that provides access to, the Out of the Blue trail. There was a light mist so I had my windbreaker on and began climbing. I got all the way up to the 3200’ midpoint of the trail after a 1/4 mile of hike a bike in 2-4” of snow. I began the cautious descent in the slush and wet roots and occasional wind fall on the trail.  After 2800’, the trail was free of snow but still plenty of windfall and a couple tree trunks to deal with. The ride went well and the trail will need basic maintenance whenever winter is done with us. The Trailforks ride log is here.
