With the dry day forecasted and no residual New Years grogginess, I got to the upper lot at sunrise and headed up Masterlink to descend Atlas. The trail was in good shape and the sweeping berms had a little softness but were wonderful. The rework performed on Atlas was well done. Kudos to the Vollies that did the work. Since it was early, and with no one else around, I did my second run down Atlas but also added an 'out and back' on Crosshaul to get a little higher on the mountain.
