So first ride back after breaking a toe two weeks ago; that injury was just normal clumsy idiocy around the house, not riding related. Tiger is closed this weekend due to construction on Hwy. 18, so had to go sample East Tiger Summit and Extra Terrestrial. ETS is perfect, Evergreen just finished trail maintenance and the switchback berms are like polished marble. ET is somewhat rutted and filled with braking bumps. Great run but the doubles are either too small or too far apart; maybe I'm just going too slow. Anyway, this weekend will be a zoo given Tiger closure and perfect weather. I'll leave it for the weekend warriors, and hit it again next week. Retirement rocks!
