Heard about the Evergreen work party that had just been out here and decided to ride it. We set out from the Big Creek Campground and headed up the service/fire roads. Took us 1.5 hrs to get to the trailhead. From there it's a pretty steep climb up to the saddle. All the descents are fun, flowy, great soil conditions. Some amazing views along the way as well! Some sections are very overgrown and it can be hard to see the trail. We saw a few hikers and two motos. The lakes are beautiful and teh final descent back down to the campground is amazing, worth all the effort! For amazing views before you head back down trail 250 and starting the traverse back towards Big Creek climb NFD Rd 8410, the road goes up a bit and you can scramble up to a rocky outcropping that opens up the view towards Rainier.
