Before the Labor Day weekend crowds innandate the Lake Chelan area, I wanted to get a Butte run in to assess the impact that the Stayman Flats fire had on the climb up or the downhill.  I'm happy to report that there is no need to worry about the condition of the trail or the road climb up. The burn scar is impressive as you get up top and scan the southwest flanks of the Butte but your ride down will be fun still! I took several pictures in my Trailforks Ride Log and one that really impressed me the most was the fall line bulldozer run made to create a secondary fire line (the report image)!!!  The driver probably had a couple of exciting moments during that streak. Anyway, enjoy the Butte at your convenience! OR, enjoy that bulldozer run! lol
