Went out to Cherry Valley this afternoon to take advantage of the moist soils and refamiliarization of the Outer Limits trail. I first went to run Funner and cleared the tree and logs across the upper third. Then went over to Barracuda and took a second run on the log 'step up' successfully. Then I climbed a final time to run Outer Limits and got caught up in the steeps and leaf/needle mats as the front tire slid out. Feather the front brake diligently more than usual or just let the bike run! I finished with Black Label on the way back to the car. It was a fun evening. Made a stop at Valley House Brewing in Duvall for a "refueling stop". GPS track and pics here. There is a chain saw job just below the top of Barracuda on the climbing access route (see image).
