Smokey Skies
Drove up from Snohomish and could see that, as soon as I left the valley floor, I was going to be in the middle of the smokey stratus cloud of the Bolt Creek Fire.
When I got to the upper lot, the smell of smoke was in the air and the rest of the views would be hazy. I decided not to do the towers this time and went straight into Lower Springboard, then Redline, then up to the Goldeneye Rock Drop. I checked for a clear line and went for it without incident and that was all I needed for the day. I continued on in the flow, went back up to do Wishbone, then back up to do Ewe Tube, Temple Pond, Red Barn, and Beaver Lake to get back to the car. The uneventful roll/drop made it a great day. GPS track and pictures here.
