Almost dry & snow-free
We rode OAB up the trail. We found two short sections of snow that should soon be gone. Heard there's some more in the hike-a-bike you do after the road climb. Got wet feet in one or two of the creek crossings, and the trail is muddy in one of the meadows, where conveniently but also unfortunately people are starting new parallel tracks.
Riding up the trail is harder than I'd hoped it would be. It's 95+% rideable if you have some skills and a small enough gear, but the tough sections are endless and it's hard to find the power for tech moves when you're already pinned. Walking is often much easier, especially in the first 1.5 miles or so. (It's 6 miles up to the top.)
