Had a great time riding around the park after work today. Lots of twisty trails with roots. Lots of short punchy climbs. Several logs to clear. Some of the park is faster flowy type riding, some is a little slower and technical, which I love. No mud in spite of the recent rain. Dirt was in great shape. Only saw 1 solo rider and a couple riding together. This is a great place for beginners and intermediate alike. I only go to Soaring Eagle once or twice a year, but every time I do I wonder why I don't ride there more often. Great fun, and a really good alternative to Duthie Hill, which was packed with cars this evening.
