good news/bad news
White River Trail is clear from the upper trailhead(near the Corral Pass Rd gate) to the Boy Scout Camp. Still trees down between the BS camp and the 410 end.
Skookum is tree free from Rd 73 to 2.6 miles - just past the falls. The next 2 miles are still not logged plus there is a bad and dangerous washout at 3.8 miles.
From the Buck Creek Rd the trail has been cleared to mile 1.5.
There are 3 washouts on the Skookum Trail. The first is less than 1/4 mile from Rd 73. There is about 40 feet of trail gone. This is easily walked around.
The second one is new(within the last couple weeks). It is 3.8 miles from Rd 73 and 2.2 miles from Buck Creek. It is in that steep eroded area where a thin trail had been cut into the hillside. There is no way around it other than either going thru it(wet unstable ball bearing size gravel and a long steep dropoff -- scary dangerous) or going over the top. This involves a steep bushwack up vertically at least 100-200 feet and then a kind of "blind" drop down. You have to go up so high because a lot of the upper hillside also slipped away.
Basically, you can't get from one end to the other at the moment.
The 3rd washout is only about 10 feet in the 1st half mile from the Buck Creek start and is easily walked around.
