This is a blast! Was a little too warm and soft snow takes more effort to ride. Best if its colder than 35 degrees. Rode 19 miles from Crystal Springs. Requires a daily snow park pass of $20.
Weekend of 3/24 is supposed to be snowing and I am going...

Japanese Gulch is in good shape, with the exception of some muddy and wet trails at Lower elevations and close to the railroad track. Fast flowy single track with short steep climbs make it more challenging than you think. Be prepared to quickly shif...

Rode Masterlink up with the intention of riding to the top. Only got to the first stream crossing before we met riders coming down who said there was a foot of snow on the road and quicklink did not look ridable. We went and did the inside passage in...

Rode up the singletrack about 2 miles but was stopped by lots of snow on the trail. Went back down to the fire road and rode that up to the 3 mile mark but unfortunately ran into even more snow. Ended the ride and returned to the parking lot. On a si...

I knew the ridgeline was full of snow so getting up the lollipop stick to the loop would've been futile. I wanted to try getting to the bottom of the loop by going up the rattlesnake road past the substation and then as far as the conditions would le...

There has been significant logging and clearing at Tolt. Vast areas of trees and trails are gone. The middle section south of the South Road is cleared. Everything along the north and west roads is cleared. It really hurt today to see what's been los...

Bright sunny Saturday in Feb. This was a good choice to avoid crowds on other trails. I went in to this thinking I'd be carrying my bike over trees more than anything else, but it was actually fairly clear - maybe only a dozen or so downe...

Preston RR has lots of water in the trail and it is super cold. The snow is not an issue and looks awesome. Half the ride I felt like I was riding through a creek of ice water. Rode a StumpJumper with 650 3.0 tires at 13psi and had lots of root slip....

In spite of January's heavy rains, the trails ride very well. Masterlink has very little mud. Summit, OTG, Fully Rigid and Joy Ride are perfect. A few boggy spots on Northwest Timber.

Parked at the upper lot and did Iverson and then the road and then returned the same way. It would be a nice view in good weather but the weather was 1/4 to 1/2 mile visibility and light misty shower. It would also be nice when folks are flying so on...

Rode the new loop, first time in a while. The trails were great not too muddy, would recommend this as a great local place to ride after work.

The Rat-Pac trail requires a fair amount of an uphill climbing, but well worth it when you get to the downhill. It is a 12 mile loop with a fair amount of technical riding. The upper area was a bit overgrown, and had some downed trees, but the lower...

It was and cool (41) out, saw a couple logging trucks come out before we started up. Road was wet and a little muddy but didn't slow us down much(not that we were going very fast to start with). Fair amount of water on the trail, especially at the ro...

Started in Arlington. Sections of deep fresh gravel make this ride more work than you'd expect. The trail gets quite overgrown with blackberry bushes at about 5 miles out.

Was a great ride during the White Christmas of 2017. I did the Tolt Pipeline East of the Thrilla but thought it would still provide information for the folks who haven't gone as far. Parking at Duvall Park and then riding East until the watershed res...

Had a great ride with the dog again. But upon returning to the car, there were 8 hunters' SUVs (there for target practice in the nearby Barrow pit) that were disabled by some vandal who removed the valve stems instead of tire slashing. My Subar...
