Work Details

Time to get DIRTY. Maintenance mudddd is ready for sculpting and organic debris is piling up.

Lets get a head start on the stuff that causes the puddles before they get any deeper.

Flat turns! exposed culverts! left over brushing! Blocked drains! All need to be dealt with.

lots of different types of work. All skill levels are welcome.

The forest requires you to be prepared. Please check the weather the day before and pack rain gear and warm layers as appropriate. Spare socks? Spare gloves?

What To Bring?

• Food and plenty of water.
• Work boots or tough hiking boots. (sturdy footwear) 
• Weather appropriate clothing. Check the forecast before heading out.
• Safety glasses and work gloves.
• A change of clothes for the drive home.

What It Takes?

• No experience is necessary, just bring a great attitude for working with a team! Evergreen provides the training and tools you need
• Expect to be physically active at your own pace for up to 6 hours on uneven terrain.

What to Wear?

• Boots
• Long pants 
• Work gloves
• Long-sleeved shirt recommended
• Eye protection recommended (glasses, sunglasses or safety glasses)

Location Information

Please meet at the yellow DNR 819 gate (HERE) on winery rd and be ready to participate at 9am. We will consolidate people and vehicles and move through the gate and up to the worksite. You may be asked to drive up agravel road with a few volunteers so plan accordingly. If you need to leave early please bring a bike to ride back to your car.
