Woke up at sunrise and headed to Darrington this morning before my weekend became too busy for mtb. I parked at the lower shuttle area and while climbing, I immediately noticed the foxglove in full bloom in many places on the mountain. The flowers' shape reminded me of the “more cowbell” SNL skit, thus the title and image. I summited two times and did Out of the Blue on the first descent and went back up and did Hoot Owl and Skyline. Trail conditions were great! Your only worry might be one or two puddles wetting your tires and then hitting a root wrong. My recording on Trailforks stopped for some reason but the Garmin Edge MTB was still recording so the ride log is via Garmin. There is a 12” tree across the OOTB trail just after the Hoot Owl junction. The Trailforks Ride Log and pictures are here.
