First ride of the year and first time on this trail.  Probably bit off more than I should have for a first ride but had a great time.  Only encountered one patch of snow that was no more than 3' across.  Quite a bit of mud on the last 100' of singletrack before it turns back to doubletrack.  Otherwise, trail is in great shape and no bugs.  Turned back at Forest Road 9020 (I think) because I wasn't entirely certain on the route to the lake, I was shot, and it was starting to drizzle.  Probably return next weekend and try to make it to the lake.
