It was a beautiful day to hit the trail and myself and 2 others rode up the fire road to the top gate entrance.  We were able to climb the first slightly steeper section and then we hit snow.  There was just WAY too much snow.  We toughed it out and hiked to the Harris Lake turn and had to continue the loop back to the parking lot.  All snow.  I think we got a 1/4 mile of no snow before we hit the cars.  Lots of small trees and shrubs in the way as well.  Do not bother with Hansen Ridge until some time in July this year.
