Solid after-work quickie
I'm new in town and started hitting this trail 3-4 times a week. For the last 3 weeks on almost every ride I keep finding new trails. I know the guys at Camas bike shop do a group ride at least once a week here and I could probably save a lot of time and energy by joining them, but it has been a joy exploring this place on my own. The advantage of that is you can't get lost. Whatever little side track you get off on will ultimately spit you out on the main trail. This doesn't exactly make it an epic weekend destination, but a perfect after-work ride or one to try if you're in the area with some downtime. I put in 13 miles today, 90% of which was singletrack only using the main walking path for initial access and connectors to the goods. Again, not an epic, but you can't ask for much more from a town loop. Don't forget some shorts to jump in the lake afterwards.
