Much better than expected
Had never been out here before, and had fairly low expectations. Glad to report I was pleasantly surprised! I was in the area for work and had a few hours to kill, so brought my bike (6x6 enduro), shoes, and helmet - no gloves, shin guards (big risk with flat pedals), glasses, or pack - other than my laptop backpack with MacBook Pro inside. It turned out to be a very legitimate riding location, with authentic and well-maintained fat-tire flowing singletrack punctuated by innumerable fits of uphill mashing (or push-a-bike). Plenty of bridges and hashed-log crossings, two big loops on the north end (like a double-headed lollipop), and a great workout. Enough that my cargo-shorts & long sleeve cotton O'Neill tee were sweat soaked by the end of a couple hours of exploring. Would do again if in the area, but definitely better suited for an XC bike.
