Bike Skills Area Work Party

April 5th, 9:00-4:00

Ellensburg, WA

The Bike Skills Area has seen a lot of use, and it needs some rework to keep it fun, safe, and challenging for years to come. With a pump track rebuild and trail armoring planned, we need a whole posse of volunteers armed with wheelbarrows, tamping tools, and gloves! Tools and lunch/refreshments provided, but please bring rakes and shovels if possible.

Join Jeff Cravens and Kevin Dwight to rebuild the southern pump track, armor the single track on all the other areas of the park. We will be running an 8.249k lbs mini on the pump track at the south end, rebuilding the pump track. Total overhaul. In addition, we will be using a quarry product to armor all single track within the skills area. We need tractors with loaders, plate or small roller compactors, wheelbarrows, and lots of people. Please email  if you have equipment that we can count on to keep costs down.
