We had the Roslyn area to ourselves on a Saturday. Overcast skies and mild temperatures. This ride has a lot of climbing. We decided to head down to the Teanaway River. It's not so good for MTB's in that direction. Mostly sandy double track roads. Tough climb back up. We did some pushing. Rat pack was fun. A lot of the black diamond stuff is in poor to worse condition. It was easy to follow the safer yellow route. Still plenty of fast steep drops with decent runouts. No trouble for my Cross Country bike. The Roslyn Cafe was great when we were done. Roslyn looks like a fun town.
