Thursday October 17th, 4-6pm
First order of business. We need to ask that people, please, please do not ride the downhill section of the north loop. We are in the hand shaping portion of the trail build, and you will completely destroy the work of our dirt artists…there will be trail blockages to re-enforce this. Go ride the south trails. I promise your patience will be rewarded with some really fun dirt surfaces!
** Also, please spread the word, this will be a one way, clockwise, mountain bike trail…sub theme “take out your earbuds”…we want everyone to be safe ***
Second order of business…(crowd groan) …800ft of Waddles will be delivered Thursday morning…some at the top, some at the bottom. I do believe this will be the last load we have to install…There are still roots to be snipped, and garbage to be picked up if the waddles aren’t your favorite. We appreciate you either way. come for an hour, come for 15 minutes….every bit helps.
The trail now has an entrance on Cheasty Blvd. Please meet at the top….
if you come later, walk (don’t ride) past the yellow tape, down the trail north and you’ll find us.…or look for the stack of waddles on Cheasty Blvd.
You can still park in the neighborhood and hike up from View Point park…but we will be up near the new entrance off of Cheasty Blvd. Just north of 24th .
