With the heavy rain forecasted for the west side of the mountains, I chose to head over Stevens Pass for the two Peshastin trails or the Chelan Butte. The front got to Stevens almost at the same time I did so I decided to go farther north and east to the Butte to have a little more time and drier air to get a run in before the rain came down. I got to the trailhead about 6:45am and started up around 7. I climbed the lower trail to the road traverse to get me over to the Butte Road and then went up to the summit. With the Levo in Trail mode, that took me about an hour. The showers were just a mist starting now so I had time for one run down and then go have breakfast and then do my family wellness check. The downhill trail has a lot of fist sized rock to make a smooth run pretty hard but it is a fun descent. GPS Track and pictures are here. TF Ride Log is here.
