4 locals went out to explore this trail for the first time this year. We unfortunately found the second half of this trail had so many treefalls that I don't think you would even want to hike it, let alone lifting your bike every 50 feet, sometimes over 4 or 5 logs in one spot. Furthermore the bushes on the sides in many areas are out of control. This is normally a stellar ride with the hard pedaling of the first 1/3 rewarded by rolly traverses through drainages and a final downhill ridge ride. I know it is a multi use trail but if Evergreen is going to advertise it as a local option then the local chapter should probably take some responsibility over its condition. PS if the local chapter is going to work on it then make sure us locals get some notice so we can come out and help....and that goes for all local trails.
