Every hour makes a difference. Your volunteer hours help Evergreen:

• Bring in funding → Volunteer hours can count as matching funds for grants, helping us fund more trail work.
• Show our impact → Hours demonstrate to land managers, funders, and partners the extent of our volunteers' contributions.
• Guide our work → Tracking hours helps us understand where volunteers are spending their time and where more support is needed.
• Strengthen our voice → Volunteer data helps support fundraising, access, and advocacy efforts.

For example, Washington's Recreational Trails Program (RTP) can recognize volunteer hours as matching funds. Some grants require up to 50% in matching funds, so your volunteer time can directly help Evergreen secure funding for future trail projects.
