Why log individual hours?

Every hour matters. We use volunteer hours to demonstrate community support when we apply for grants (many of which require matching volunteer hours), to report back to our land manager partners, and to show the true scope of what our volunteers contribute, not just on the trails but across education, events, and leadership too. Logging your hours individually makes sure that work counts, even if it didn't happen at an official work party or come with a sign in sheet.
