Can I perform work anywhere?

For trail maintenance and construction, not quite. That work needs to be approved by Evergreen and needs to be in compliance with the land manager for that area. In some places we have long standing maintenance agreements that allow for annual routine maintenance, but that's not the case everywhere. If you're not sure whether the trail work you want to do is covered, reach out before you start.

Group Rides also need to be officially organized or led by Evergreen to count. If it's just a ride with friends who happen to also volunteer with Evergreen, that doesn't qualify. For other types of volunteer work, like education or board and council involvement, just make sure the work is being done under Evergreen.
