 Evergreen Crank Sisters Beginner-Intermediate Level Social Ride .   Let's go enjoy a beautiful fall day doing what we love - biking.  This will be a social ride and beginner friendly.    Please arrive on time so we can enjoy 8-10 miles.  We stop at  trail junctions and ride as a group.  

About the Trails :  Black Diamond Open Space is a large forested area with lots of possibilities.  Overall cross-country with flowy trails, some drops (can be bypassed). Trails are generally dry, rooty and rocky with green and blue technical ratings.  

  • Crank Sisters has a no-drop policy--we will regroup often. 

This ride is limited to 18+ years old unless riding with a parent or guardian.  All riders need to meet the above experience requirements.

E-Bikes:  King County Parks adopts the same position as DNR: You can legally use E-Bikes on trails if you have an ADA place card in your car. Here is the link to trails that allow E-Bikes without needing an ADA card: https://www.evergreenmtb.org/ebikeaccess.

When you click the link, it will tell you whether you have signed this year. If not, it will give you a link to sign it.

  • Please cancel your RSVP before the ride time if you can’t make the ride. Text the rider leader Sarah Andrew, 360-556-3244 if you have to cancel within two hours of the ride.Please RSVP at least 2 hours before the ride.

Directions: 

BDOS is located two miles north of Black Diamond or six miles south of Maple Valley on SR-169;Maple Valley-Black Diamond Rd/3rd Ave.  We will meet by the bulletin board /Port a Potty, adjacent to the main parking lot (east side) ready to ride at 10:00am

Equipment:

  • Please bring: rain jacket, a mountain bike in good working order, helmet, water,, backpack with some snacks, and spare bike tube.  

Conditions for cancellation: (heavy wind, lightning, flooding etc.) If a ride must be canceled, the ride leader will attempt to contact anyone signed up by 3pm the day before the ride.
