Yay! It's drain cleaning season!
Desription
With the inevitable return of the rain comes the return of mud puddles on our trails. Fortunately for me, it also brings my favorite season, drain cleaning season! I'll be hosting mid week and occasional weekend work parties through the fall, winter and spring to clean drains to keep our butts, legs and feet dry(er) all winter. Join me to learn the skills required experience the fun of making a difference for hundreds of fellow riders.
Details.
Start time: 9:00 AM.
End Time: 1:00 PM We may end earlier or later depending on participant availabilty.
Where: Tiger Mountain State Forest. Hwy 18 Main gate. (HERE)
Evergreen will provide the tools. Feel free to bring your own personal tools if you prefer.
What should you bring....?
• Food and plenty of water.
• Forest oriented footwear. Boots or sturdy shoes with some traction.
• Eye protection and work gloves.
• Weather appropriate clothing. Check the forecast before heading out!
