Cheasty Trail Work ** northern trails

This week, we continue installing orange fence along the trail corridor. We can hand you some loppers and you can trim roots, rake some dirt, plant ferns along the trail corridor

…do a test lap, carefully, things are so dry too much testing will blow the dirt off the trail.

 

NOTE: we are probably moving to an "every other Thursday" schedule after this week. At least until we get some significant rain fall. The dirt is just too dry to hand work right now. We will post any future work parties here, on Facebook and via email if we need help...I expect we'll get another load of wattles at some point...yay.

 

Bring gloves, water and a bike.

Meet at the red “X”. If you are biking, you can pretty easily pop into the forest and find the top of the downhill section just north of 25th. (red line/arrows)

Ride down and around to us in a clockwise direction…its a fun section! There is limited street parking on 25th and Cheasty Blvd if you need to drive to the event.
