Reiter Foothills Reroute

What we're doing

Recent logging at Reiter Foothills in Gold Bar has taken its toll on some of the trails that are now in dire need of some TLC. Come join for a day of digging as we work to restore some of the affected trails. We'll be rerouting and rebuilding trail segments in clearcut areas to bring them back to standard!

What to bring

There’s enough extra tools to go around, but bring a pair of work gloves and a backpack of essentials and extra layers for the day. No trail building experience is needed, but riders should be comfortable riding descent focused trails(think Jackpot, Atlas, Chuckanut) as we’re virtually rebuilding sections of trail that will need some testing to get right! Bikes are encouraged for that reason, but don't sweat it if you want to keep the bike home!

Plan for the day

We will meet at 2:30PM in the parking lot located at 14828 429th Ave SE, Gold Bar, WA 98251 and hike roughly a mile to the worksite where we’ll work until about 6:30PM. If you want to come, but can’t show up until past the meeting time or need to leave a little earlier, let me know, and we can make it work!
