Spring Fling 2025

Two years strong and still putting the "party" in "work party", Spring Fling 2025 is done and dusted!

Raging River is one of Evergreen's most popular riding areas in the Cascades to Sound Chapter, which means this trail system always needs extra maintenance to keep it running smoothly. Together, we managed to log almost 500 volunteer hours to get your favorite trails at Raging River riding beautifully for their peak season.

Teams of hard-working volunteers led by Evergreen’s professional Trail Builders slogged through muck and mud, shoveling and raking their way from top to bottom of the trails. Hazardous trees were flagged for sawyers, debris was removed, drains were cleared, and a good time was had by all.

Some words from the Evergreen team:

"It was incredibly wholesome to see the community rally! Over 75 volunteers contributed nearly 500 hours to trail maintenance at our second annual Spring Fling, making it the biggest one yet!”

--Brandon Lester, Evergreen Volunteer Coordinator

“Spring Fling exceeded expectations! The turnout was fantastic, the energy was high, and it truly felt like a celebration of a new season. Witnessing the Washington DNR connecting with first-time volunteers was especially rewarding. Raging River is definitely ready for spring!"

--Ashlie Courtney, Evergreen Trails Project Manager
