Do you have skills in marketing, building community, graphic design, volunteer coordination, or are you just enthusiastic about the Crank Sisters and want to see the group grow bigger and stronger? Evergreen Crank Sisters aim to increase women's participation in mountain biking and help women achieve their writing goals.
Evergreen Crank Sister Committee Member Roles and Responsibilities
Committee Members will be:
- Committed to the mission and vision of Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance and that of Evergreen Crank Sisters specifically
- Desire to recruit new women into mountain biking and serve beginner to intermediate riders
- Active in the mountain bike community and members of Evergreen
- Willing to dedicate time, ensure mission advancement and serve as an ambassador within the community to deepen Evergreen’s relationships with all members, industry stakeholders and supporters.
Committee Members commit to spending approximately 4-8 hours a month on average:
- Attending monthly committee meetings.
- Preparing committee work products outside of meetings.
Application Process:
If you are interested in becoming an Evergreen Crank Sisters Committee member, please fill out the Committee Application below and include any relevant information that may assist us in evaluating your ability to have a positive impact on Evergreen Crank Sisters’ ability to successfully achieve its mission and goals. We will be reviewing applications on a rolling basis, but you can anticipate an initial response from us within a month of receiving your application. All eligible applicants will meet with the sitting Committee Members to discuss their qualifications and interest in taking a more active part in the Crank Sisters community.
Description of Evergreen Crank Sister Committee
- The committee consists of a group women of all ages who share a passion for mountain biking and in particular, for creating a supportive and fun community for women riders through women’s only rides, race pre-rides, and other events.
- We are currently recruiting new committee members and are looking for women mountain bikers with experience in social media and marketing, event organizing, volunteer coordination, graphic design and simple accounting.
