Celebrating the 20th Anniversary of Take A Kid MTB Day with Squatch Fest!
Our community showed up for October 5th's annual Take a Kid MTB Day festival to create a fun environment for everyone to enjoy.
Families adventured to Duthie, the dual slalom refresh finished just in time for the all-ages race, the little ones were racing their hearts out on the pump track; the weather was perfect, and there was a fantastic lineup of activities; it was truly a day to remember!
Here's a photo recap with a few highlights:

A heartwarming aspects of the events we at Evergreen get to put on is the opportunity for community connection.
That sense of joy and community is hanging around this week as we pack away the tents and reflect on the day. We're already looking forward to next year's TAKMBD festival, but in the meantime, let's carry that connection and celebration through the winter!
A big thank you to our co-hosts of the event and race management aficionadas, Bigfoot BMX, to Compass Outdoor Adventures and Courtenay Blaine for emceeing the event and hosting the Scavenger Hunt, to Sweetlines for the fantastic pump track races, and most importantly, to everyone who participated; vendors, volunteers, and attendees!
Here's to many more memorable community events in the future!
