Who are  Evergreen Ambassadors?

Evergreen CTS Trail Ambassadors are members of the community willing and excited to engage other riders on the trails and at events, represent Evergreen and support our mission of making Washington the best place to ride!

What our Ambassadors Do:

Ambassadors are individuals at trailheads, Evergreen events, leading rides on trails year-round, participating at work parties, creating content, Etc. 

Evergreen’s Ambassador program is a flexible model! We encourage participants to work with our staff to tailor an individual Ambassador experience that allows them to help Evergreen in a way that feels most aligned with their personal strengths and goals.

Specific Requirements

Note: All knowledge of trail systems, best maintenance practice, best ride practices, and Evergreen general information to be provided

 An Evergreen Ambassador is:

• Willing to engage with all trail users and strangers on trails, at trailheads, and at events.
• Knowledgeable about mountain bike trail systems and riding fundamentals, with the ability to analyze capabilities of riders, gear, and trail systems.
• Comfortable giving information on trail systems and ride routes to riders on trails, at trailheads, and at community events. Able to understand rider capabilities and accurately recommend appropriate routes and give appropriate warnings about trail features while encouraging progression, exploration, and a positive experience.
• Excited to provide information on the benefits of Evergreen’s work, local bicycle and outdoor industry businesses/services, and partnering government agencies to trail users.
• A positive representative of Evergreen, the Evergreen mission, and mountain bike community at events - ranging from work parties, film showings, fundraisers, advocacy workshops, races, and events
