Winter Stoke 2016—A Member-Supported Success!
We love Winter Stoke (and we hope you do too)! It’s not just a great time to get together, watch some videos, and raise some money for next years projects—it’s a time for us (the staff and board) to hang out a bit, grab a beer with members, and enjoy the casual atmosphere at Gerks.
But don’t let that laid-back feel fool you—there’s a ton of work that goes into making this event possible. The Gerk’s crew spent plenty of time graciously clearing the floor for us, volunteers show up hours before the event to help organize tables, staff scrambles to organize prize packs, and then finally our members show up—and this year they came out in a big way.
Thanks to all of you who participated in the silent auction, raffles, and prizes, we’re looking at clearing about $8,000 that we now get to put directly back into trails. Thank you so much!

We’d also be incredibly remiss if we didn’t thank so many businesses for supporting the event—most obviously Gerk’s for one again providing the fantastic venue, our Trailwork Sponsors Two Beers Brewing Co and Seattle Cider Company, Sun Peaks who donated several 4-packs of lift tickets, and Clif Bar for always showing up and bringing some energy.
