2015 Winter Stoke Photo & Video Winners!
With snow in short supply in the Puget Sound area it’s a great time to be a mountain biker! And what better way to celebrate than with mountain bike movies, photos, and raffle prizes? Last Saturday nearly 250 people packed Gerk’s Ski and Cycle store in Issaquah for the 3rd Annual Winter Stoke Party and Dirt Junkie MTB Video & Photo Contest! Folks won sweet prizes in the silent auction and raffles, and everyone voted for their favorite photo and video.
Hosted by Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, the party was a huge success raising money for Evergreen’s Education Program. Best of all…Plenty of wintertime mountain bike stoke was generated along the way, and a stellar time was had by all! This year three of the eight videos entered took home sweet packs from Platypus--and all eight were shot by and/or starred Evergreen members!. Dirt Junkie Video Contest:
1st Place - Tiger on One by Jason Shirk
2nd place - Two weeks due: Steve Wolff and Brendan Einan (Filmed with Canon 7D, a buncha Canon lenses and GoPros, in 1080 HD)
