Winthrop to Mazama - Methow Community Trail

This is a pleasent and easy ride on a combination of trails, gravel roads and paved roads. Great for families! Start in Winthrop, Mazama or really anywhere in between. Ride until you are tired and then turn around and ride back to the start. More information can be found on the Methow Trails website. http://www.methowtrails.org/bike-the-methow
Parts of the ride will be n the open and parts will be through shaded forest. It will be hot and dry in the summer. Bring plenty of water.
This trail is on US Forest Service - Methow Ranger District and private properties. The trail is maintained by the Methow Valley Sport Trails Association.

We rode from Mazama to the suspension bridge and back on the community trail, great for kids!!!
We rode the Methow trail from Mazama to the bridge and back. It's a very easy, fun and beautiful 6 mile ride. Kids love this ride because he trail is wide and flat. You can stop by the Methow and get some fresh moutain water for a break. Great family ride!
