More Than A Feeling at Lord Hill

02 | Mar | '25

The trails have soaked up most of the water, but some drainage is still needing a day or two more. You will have fun here so come get some. I rolled the Goldeneye Rock drop but there is still a chainsaw job of one tree on that runout (report image). There is also a chainsaw job halfway down Meetcutter and at the top of Dawn of Spring at the East Tower. Big Meat is also getting better. Enjoy your next ride at Lord Hill!! The Trailforks Ride Log is here. It was such a fun day, that it gave me 'more than a feeling'. Sing the rest of this report to Boston's first awesome hit!!

--------------

I woke up this morning and the sun was out
Grabbed me some breakfast to start my day
I lost myself when at the trailhead
I began my ride and I slipped away

It's more than a feeling
(More than a feeling)
When I feel  handlebars shake
(More than a feeling)
I begin scheming
(More than a feeling)
How I’ll send that jump and ride away
I’ll send that jump and ride away

So many crashes have come and gone
The injuries fade as the years go by
Some aches still are felt as I wander on
As reminders of fun in the summer sun

It's more than a feeling
(More than a feeling)
When I feel  handlebars shake
(More than a feeling)
I begin scheming
(More than a feeling)
How I’ll send that jump and ride away
I’ll send that jump and ride away

When I'm tired and really old
I ride with my E bike, forget the way
And dream of the bikes I used to own
I closed my eyes and went the wrong way
Went the wrong way

It's more than a feeling
(More than a feeling)
When I feel  handlebars shake
(More than a feeling)
I begin scheming
(More than a feeling)
How I’ll send that jump and ride awayyyyyy
