Thank Goodness I Was Above the Smoke

The Lake Chelan Valley was full of smoke this morning, but if you looked straight up, you could see blue sky. So I figured the higher altitude trails would be clear of the smoke. I took off to go do the Echo Ridge trails. I started up Waterbar Heaven and then the Outback and Dust to Glory and finished with Bob's trail and a few others. It was a wonderful morning before the heat came back and the smoke filled in again. GPS track and pictures are here. Trail's were dry but still fun.
If you decide to ride in the Mad River, Chelan area or even Echo Ridge trails this Summer, check this link for the Pioneer fire, smoke, wind currents, and air quality.
