After an hour at the skills park, I drove up to the lower shuttle road at the bottom of Lower Skyline. I climbed the freshly cleared and packed shuttle road (great job DNR or contractor!) and noted a tree needing the big saws at the bottom of Upper Skyline. I went down Lower Skyline and was stopped by a 8" tree down, 2 switchbacks below "the stump". I pulled out my saw and got rid of that for you so Lower Skyline is all ready for you. The dirt in Darrington is drained, almost hero, but the rocks are a bit hairy so just be careful. GPS track and pics here.
