Good for beginner/intermediate
I rode BFH for the first time on a sunny, chilly Sunday afternoon after 5+ days without rain. Trails were nice and dry.
As a beginner/intermediate rider, I found these trails a lot of fun. Not too many large roots or obstacles, so I was able to get good speed up on most of the trails without worrying about taking a spill. There are some short, steep hills to get the blood pumping but I found very few sections that I had to dismount.
The trails are quite circuitous, which is nice because it seems to cut down on the number of hikers/runners compared to St. Edwards.
Overall, for someone looking for some nice, smooth greens/blues a short drive from Seattle, BFH is highly recommended.
