Thanks to my good friend Pavel for the early Sunday morning invite to ride one of my favorite alpine classics.  We hit the trail (rather started out on the service road) at sometime between 6:30 and 7:00, and made it back to the car in about 3:30 hours.  Saw not another person until we were all the way back to the car.  The trail was in mint condition - no snow anywhere, and only a few blocking trees that had established walkarounds.  Creek crossings were low, and the trail tread was superb - tacky or hardpack, no mud or dust.  Still a good display of wildflowers as well.
